Our mission is simple…
We’re here to help you learn, grow, and heal…
Through depression, anxiety, trauma, family conflict, identity exploration, and major life transitions.
We know what it’s like to navigate overwhelming emotions, cultural expectations, family dynamics, and the weight of trying to “keep it together.”
Let us help you heal.
As a small mental health practice founded and led by an LGBTQ+ woman of color, we are rooted in the belief that healing must be inclusive, affirming, and accessible.
Our care is culturally responsive and strength-based, designed for those navigating the intersections of race, gender, sexuality, class, and trauma.
Our approach blends counseling and coaching with evidence-based treatments like Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). We are structured, direct, and action-oriented – because we believe change doesn’t just happen during sessions, it happens between them.
We help you build the tools to carry that change into your everyday life.

Walking into therapy is an act of courage.
Especially in a world that constantly demands perfection and productivity.
It takes real strength to slow down and choose yourself in a culture that tells you to keep going no matter what.
So if you’re here reading this, I want you to know:
You’ve already done something powerful.
Therapy with me feels like a conversation.
It’s interactive and engaging… and maybe a little humorous from time to time.
My clients often say, “That’s a really good question!” – because I ask the kind of questions you may have never been asked before – the ones that invite you to go deeper.
Together, we’ll explore what brings you joy, what’s getting in the way, and how to make space for more of what matters.

Sessions are kind of like a mirror…
They reflect wisdom that’s already inside you.
You might find yourself saying things you never thought you’d say – bold, affirming truths about yourself and your life.
I often encourage you to write them down. I believe deeply in the power of journaling, self-reflection, and gratitude.
I welcome you to bring a journal into the process so you can keep track of insights, celebrate growth, and connect the dots.
We’ll change how you think and feel outside of session, too.
I had one client joke: “I need to make a t-shirt that says, ‘What would my therapist say?’”
That’s the goal: learning to show up for yourself when no one else is around.
You’ll learn to turn down the noise in your mind, practice self-compassion, and take brave steps toward what you really want.
That’s the key to healing.
Whether that’s ending a toxic relationship, leaving a draining job, taking a long-overdue trip, or just finally feeling peace in your skin, you’ll notice more clarity, better relationships, deeper gratitude, and more space for joy.
This is YOUR journey!
You’re the expert on your life, so you’re in the driver’s seat. You set the pace.
But we’d love the opportunity to ride alongside you.
It won’t always be easy, but you’ll feel safe, seen, and heard…
And we’ll give you the tools you need to make real change in your life.

About Me
“You are only free when you realize you belong nowhere – you belong every place – no place at all.”
–Maya Angelou

That quote speaks to me…
… because it reflects the life I’ve lived and the freedom I’ve found within myself.
I was born in Canada, raised in Dominica and St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, grew up and got a master’s degree in the fast pace of New York City, spent two years in South Korea, and for the past decade, I’ve called Massachusetts home.
Every place I’ve lived has shaped me culturally, emotionally, and spiritually.
What it’s taught me is that home isn’t always a location. It’s a sense of self.
I bring that perspective into the therapy room.
I know what it’s like to hold multiple identities, to search for belonging, and to carry stories that don’t always fit the mold. I make space for all of that in our work together.
In 2016, I ran for public office as a state representative for Fitchburg and Lunenburg. It was one of the scariest things I’ve ever done – but also one of the most transformative.
I didn’t win, but I showed up. I learned that success isn’t always about outcomes; it’s about the courage to take the step.
That’s something I help my clients embrace every day: showing up scared and doing the work anyway.
With over a decade in the field of social work…
I specialize in helping people reconnect with themselves, navigate emotional pain, and take actionable steps toward the life they want.
If you’re ready – even if you’re unsure or afraid – I’ll be right here with you.
Let’s do the work together. Call (978) 516-4600 to schedule a free consultation.
